Patsy Jo (Martin) Starrett

Graveside services for Patsy Jo Starrett, of Pittsburg, will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Leesburg Cemetery with Bro. Kyle Smith officiating.  Interment will be in Leesburg Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  Mrs. Starrett passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023, in a Tyler hospice.

Mrs. Starrett was born July 29, 1933, in Leesburg to James Harvey and Emma Faye Lineberger Martin. She retired from Pittsburg Independent School District as the High School Cafeteria Manager and was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, David Starrett and wife, Sue; daughter, Shelia Starrett Jones; bonus son, Sperry Wilson and wife, Karen; grandchildren, Mark Jones and wife, Joni, and Scott Jones; great-grandchildren, Chris Jones, and Caleb Jones; sister, Pauline Ashworth; and son-in-law, Don Jones and wife, Dianne; sister-in-law, Jerrie Loughery and husband, Bob; and two nieces and two nephews.

Mrs. Starrett was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Starrett, and her parents.

Pallbearers will be Mark Jones, Scott Jones, Chris Jones, Caleb Jones, Sperry Wilson, and Don Jones.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2023, at Erman Smith Funeral Home.
