Myrtle Christene (Quinn) Quick

Funeral services for Myrtle Christene Quick, 81, of Pittsburg will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 22, 2024, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Tammy Nelson and John Hines officiating.  Interment to follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Pittsburg. Mrs. Quick passed away, Thursday, April 18, 2024, at her residence.

Mrs. Quick was born on April 14, 1943, in Camp County to Gordon Henry and Eva Ion LeRoy Quinn.  She was a housewife, farmer, and a member of the Pentecostal Church of Pittsburg.

She went to church all the time.  She loves the Lord Jesus Christ her Savior.  She is a very loving, caring, tenderhearted person.  Also, she always welcomed you into her home as if you were her own.  She loved all her family and friends.  She is a very loving mother.

She is survived by her sons, Jessie Thomas Quick, Jr. and wife, Christina; Donald McCain and wife, Glenda and Venson McCain and wife, Karla; Kelvin McCain; daughter, Debbie McCain Graves and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Matthew McCain, Sherry Williamson, Kija McCain, Jesseka Carlile, Tiffanie Sanders, Amelia Quick, Alicia Quick, Anna Stanley, Daniel Stanley and wife, Sierra and Kristofer McCain; numerous great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Quinn Robertson and Barbara Quinn Mayo; numerous nieces and nephews; and loving uncle and friend, Bobby LeRoy.

Mrs. Quick is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Thomas Quick, Sr.; parents, son, James Gordon Quick; brothers, Gordon Quinn and Charles Quinn; sister, Joyce Capehart; great-grandchildren, Morgan Stanley, A.J. Stanley.

Pallbearers will be David Quinn, Daniel Stanley, Daniel Quinn, Charles Quinn, Mark Quinn, Lloyd Quinn.

Honorary pallbearers Cayden Williamson and Levi Irvin.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
