Charlotte Jane (Goodson) Dueitt

Charlotte Jane Dueitt, 63, of Leesburg Texas, passed away on November 28th, 2022. She was born on March 26, 1959 to Millard Goodson and June Attaway Goodson in Beaumont, Texas.

Ms. Dueitt was passionate about many different things; her hobbies included fishing, cooking for family and friends, quilting, and spending time outdoors.

One of the things she was most passionate about was her family. She loved and cherished her 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. For the past 18 years, she shared an unconditional partnership with Mr. Larry Nichols. Their greatest memories together include dancing and holding each other closely. Additionally, she loved and cared for her three daughters and their spouses, whom she loved dearly; Laneita Brewer, Katherine Farmer and husband, John Farmer, and Jenna Dueitt; she also leaves behind her son, Mike Goodson and his wife, Angela.

Charlotte was one of eight daughters born to Millard and June Attaway Goodson. She leaves behind her sisters Janice Daniel and husband Greg of Azle, Texas, and Mechelle Burkley of Winnsboro, Texas.

She is proceeded in death by her parents; five of her sisters, Orange Lee, Betty Ann, Brenda Sue, Vicky Lyn, and Maudie Mae; her grandparents Florence Culpepper and William Goodson, and BF Attaway and Osie Lee Fuller Attaway.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Erman Smith funeral home in Pittsburg, Texas.

A celebration of life is scheduled for 10:00 am Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Erman Smith Funeral Home. Pastor Zach Tomlinson will be officiating, and the pallbearers will be David Farmer, Derek Farmer, Kendall Heathcock, Brian Nichols, Dwayne Cardwell, and Dalton Cardwell.

Following her service, Ms. Dueitt will be laid to rest at Smyrna Cemetery in Winnsboro, Texas.
